Timothy has been in the façade industry for over 20 years. He has been involved in diverse roles and positions in contractor and consultant firms, from designing to managing projects, including assisting architects in designing façade system to achieve the required aesthetic.

He has extensive experience in the design and management of façade systems. His experience in various project types allows him to work under pressure and solve problems on the spot, gain prompt understanding on design and production stage as well as on site constructability, and manage a project to run smoothly from design through to installation.

For the last 10 years, he is with Meinhardt and in charge of Jakarta and Singapore projects, and recently expanding to those in other South East Asia countries as well.

Alex Dantziguian is the Managing Director of Technoform Middle East DMCC, based in Dubai since 2006. TECHNOFORM, is the global leader based in Germany with worldwide know-how on thermal insulation of doors, windows, & facades for over 50 years. With 11 production plants and around 35 offices around the world, they represent over 62% of the global market in thermal insulation of façade systems.

Alex personally has about 30 years of experience in aluminum doors, windows, and building facades starting from the fabrication side of the business to supplying polyamide strips for thermal break aluminum systems. He is responsible for all markets in the ME, India, Africa.

Huzefa Ali is currently part of the Lendlease Façade technical team in the UK and has been working in the UK façade industry for the last 10 years. In this time, Huzefa has developed technical expertise from the detailed design of facades, Manufacture & Assembly to Façade Project Management on delivering successful façade projects.

Huzefa holds the Msc in Façade Engineering from University of Bath and a Bachelors of architecture from NCA, Lahore. His past career includes working in the self-delivery façade team in Laing O’Rourke. Huzefa has been involved in landmark projects such as the Alderhey Hospital Liverpool, Crossrail Stations London, Cambridge University and Google Headquarters London. He has keen interests in the design and construction of pre-fabricated façade systems to enable a culture of safety and quality in project delivery.

As an Engineer in architectural design and with over 22 years of professional experience in the façade industry, Stefan started in 2000 with Schüco in Germany as a Project Developer in the Façade Engineering department and worked from 2007 onwards for Hueck as Project Manager for different high rise schemes before shifting to sales function and being the General Manager of Hueck Middle East FZE in Dubai.

Before joining Schüco Middle East in 2019, Stefan worked as Business Development Director for Priedemann based in Berlin/Germany and responsible for the oversea markets.

Sohaib has an experience of over a decade in Architectural field for running architectural jobs independently as well as a part of teams locally and internationally.

Sohaib has worked and developed few of the biggest malls in Pakistan while being local lead and as a part of international teams from AHR-Global and AEDAS. With experience of working with biggest contractors in Pakistan and international teams, he feels honored to have developed such portfolio in such short span.

Currently he is in partnership with Marcus Wilkins (Founder) and Muhammad Talha (Director) for running ARCHI-TEX Pakistan LLP, a practice where primary work is based on BIM.

Mohammad Nasar is a Senior Façade Access Consultant at AESG with 11 years of experience working on some of the prestigious projects in the Middle East and Europe.

He is an industry experience-based façade access specialist who provides innovative and practical solutions to architects, contractors and building owners for the selection and integration of the right kind of façade access and maintenance system.

He has worked on a variety of projects including mixed-use commercial buildings, high-profile hotels, data centers, and hospitals. He has a strong understanding of the varying access requirements different projects entail and has first-hand experience to propose access solutions.

Architect and façade engineer at Bollinger + Grohmann, Paris, for 6 years. Ali started working at B+G after obtaining his master’s degree in Building Technology from TU Delft in the Netherlands. Over the years, he has gained experience in a large variety of projects, from ‘haute-couture' façades in Europe and Asia to high performance façades requiring certifications such as Passivhaus and BREEAM. At B+G, Ali specializes in dynamic environmental analyses and thermal performance optimization in addition to his other responsibilities as façade engineer.

Arif Belgaumi is an architect based in Karachi, Pakistan. His office, Arif Belgaumi Architects, draws on nearly three decades of diverse architectural experience gained in the United States and Pakistan, in a practice grounded in the regional and cultural context of Pakistan. The firm has a diverse portfolio of works consisting of residential, commercial, educational and diplomatic buildings.

Arif Belgaumi received a Bachelor of Arts in Design of the Environment in 1987 and a Master of Architecture degree in 1991, both from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. After completing his studies Arif worked for a number of years in the United States before returning to Pakistan in 1998.

Arif Belgaumi’s work is preoccupied with the craft of making. He is particularly interested in the inherent qualities of materials and how they contribute to the development of the detail as functional and expressive architectural components. He is active in promoting environmental concerns and developments in architecture to address climate change. He is an advocate for the preservation of the natural environment and the need for green and sustainable development in urban areas.

Arif Belgaumi has been active in architectural education for over twenty years and serves as an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Architecture at the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture. He has also been involved at many levels in local profession organizations and international forums.

He has a wide range of experience and worked at ASA for 24 years, he was the Principal Architect / Director, Arshad Shaihid Abdulla (Pvt) Ltd. ZAVIA design approach is structured around a process of discovery. He aims to uncover the personality of each project, revealing its unique principles and opportunities which then form the heart of his approach. He aims to deliver buildings and environments which resonate with both a sense of place and the identity of the client. He obeys the principles of regionalism and sustainable architectural standards in his design works.

Junaid N Vohra is CEO Aluminium Products Corporation and Vice President of “THE PRODUCT GROUP”. The Product Group is a group of companies currently involved in importing/manufacturing of many different construction materials.

Having done his bachelors in Marketing and Finance from Greenwich University in 2003, joined the family business and soon after realizing the need for façade systems in the market, and stablished ALUMINIUM PRODUCTS CORPORATION in 2004.

Junaid N Vohra is also the founding member of the PAKISTAN GREEN BUILDING COUNCIL and has substantial knowledge of ENERGY EFFICIENT SUSTAINABLE FACADES Solutions. He spearheaded the first LEED Certified factory project and worked under the guidelines of U.S GREEN BUILDING COUNCIL. He is actively involved in development of new and innovative energy conservation façade materials in Pakistan.

Ahmed Mian received his Bachelors of Architecture from the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture, Karachi in 1996 and a Masters of Industrial Design from the Pratt Institute, New York in October 2002. After receiving his bachelor’s degree and working as a fulltime architect, in 1999 he relocated to New York City to gain a master’s degree and professional experience abroad. In the ten years he spent practicing in the US, he had the opportunity to work on single and multi-family residences, as well as retail and commercial developments in the United States. He specially gained expertise in large scale public projects and educational institutions (K-12) in both architecture and interiors. He returned to Karachi in 2009 as one of the few LEED® accredited practitioners in the country.

Ahmed has been an Executive Committee Member of the Institute of Architects, Pakistan– Karachi Chapter (IAP-KC) for the years2011-2013. He collaborated with the IAP in developing a Green Building Manual for sustainable design construction and practices for the emerging Pakistan Green Building Council. He also helped develop recommendations for the Government Of Sind in formulating Universal Accessibility Standards for built environments. He has also been a part-time design studio faculty at Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture in Karachi.

In 2011 he founded Studio Subtractive, as a platform for likeminded creative individuals to forward their investigations into meaningful and sustainable design solutions for the built environment. Subtractive is an award winning interdisciplinary studio based in Karachi. We operate in the field of architecture, interior + environmental, industrial design and LEED®consultancy services. Through the design and execution of a diverse set of projects, we have conceived strategies that integrate sustainable and modern features into the built environment. From designing workplaces to commercial buildings, restaurants to residential, the diversity of projects gives us the knowledge and prowess to work at any scale and in any context.

Principal architect at Gravity Architecture and Interiors, Farah started her career as an architect in 2001, in the Netherlands, working with different architectural companies in Amsterdam, including Architekten Cie, a leading Dutch architectural firm, with whom she formed a partnership in Pakistan where she moved to in 2012, and set up her own company, Gravity Architecture and Interiors, where she is the principal architect and has undertaken the design of several projects including high rise buildings, residential, commercial and office buildings, luxury homes, offices, and other commercial developments.

Imran is a Director at Future Glass which is an authority in the Fire Rated Glazing industry of the Middle East. Having ventured into this specialty for almost 10 years, Imran has developed and spearheaded not only their company but also the industry of Fire Rated Glazing in the Middle East.

Graduated from the Singapore Management University, he is a Master of Technology and an artist at building relationships. Imran and Future Glass have brought a diverse range of products and solutions for fire-safe facades ranging from small vision panels to complete fire rated curtain walls.

He is indeed setting the benchmark of tomorrow, today.

Gökhan ERMIŞ is the Architectural Marketing Manager of Pulver Powder Coatings, the third largest powder coating manufacturer in Europe. He has a master’s degree in marketing from Marmara University and a bachelor’s degree in advertising from Near East University. He has more than 7 years experience in powder coating field in various tasks and functions, such as sales and marketing. He lives in Istanbul, Turkey.

Fawad holds extensive experience working across Asia including Japan, China, South Korea and the Middle East. He holds an undergraduate in Architecture from the National College of Arts, Lahore and Master’s in Engineering in Architecture and Urbanism from the University of Tokyo in Japan. Over the last seven years, Fawad has worked on multiple award-winning, record-breaking projects that break the mould of conventional design and constantly push the periphery on what’s considered possible. His interests lie in the intersection of hi-tech façade design, digital fabrication and sustainability.

Fawad is currently an Associate at Foster + Partners where he’s designing and delivering high-end residential and hospitality projects. He is based in Dubai, UAE and some of his notable projects at F+P are the Coral Bloom in Red Sea, KSA and Palm Flower in Palm Jumeirah, Dubai.

Abdullah brings a wealth of knowledge to the practice by having worked in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Karachi and Lahore for over 10 years on key, hospitality, mixed use, residential, institutional and commercial projects. Abdullah is a LEED accredited professional since 2009. His design philosophy outlines the use of sustainable strategies to deliver intelligent and efficient projects. His demonstrated problem-solving skills, client communication, and extensive project development experience, makes him a top choice for complex projects. Abdullah plays a pivotal role in personally overseeing projects from concept development through to successful completion.

Abdul Basit is the General Manager of Farook Metal and Aluminium Coating LLC based in UAE Since 2002. FMAC is excellent in the strategic application of sustainable and green powder coating solutions for Architectural industry.

Abdul is a specialised Powder coating industry professional, He has been in the Coatings industry for over 10 years, having served in various operational, commercial and general management roles with experience in the powder coatings industries.
